I don't usually write product review blogs, but today I realized I have been enjoying this product for over a decade, and it has been major part of my life; so it definitely deserves a recognition and my thank you.
I became a Bose fan back in 2009. I wanted a new set of earphones, and I did some research, and thought of giving their in-ear headphones a try. That was it. There was no looking back. I never put any other earphones into my ear since then.

I kept replacing the worn-out Bose earphones for next 8 years. I think I replaced them 3 times in over 8 years; and that's awesome durability for an earphone when its owner is a person who always had her ears plugged in - at work, during travel, at home, at gym, on hikes, when going to sleep etc.. (and am no delicate handler.)
Year 2017- I was travelling pretty much every week. By now my love for Bose was popular amongst my friends too. One of them had bought Bose Quietcomfort35 in a thanksgiving deal for around $200. (You know what people do on thanksgiving, buy anything and everything just because there is a good offer on it.), and now he did not really want it. He approached me, and started selling it saying since I travel a lot, it will be very useful for me. Well, just because it was Bose, I did not need much convincing, and I bought them.

I had tried couple of over the ear headphones by then; but after an hour of wear, my ear lobes would end up hurting; so I always switched back to my Bose in-earphones, which did not cause any pain or discomfort, even when I had them on for over 8 hours at times.
I tried Bose QC35 on for the first time in the airport, traveling from Denver to New Jersey; and oh my god, I fell in love with it. If you wonder, why all these business class folks wear Bose headphones; if it's their style or status statement; it could be, but I can definitely tell one main reason is for sure it's noise cancelling feature, it's magical like some sorcery.
You just turn the noise cancellation on and you get completely disconnected from the surrounding. And in-flight, the weird and irritating buzz, is completely blocked when I put them on.
These headphones have been my true friend in those 14 hour long haul flights.
If there is one thing I can say that has become my necessity (after of course, food, water, air and mountains) is this headphone. I am not exaggerating. For a person like me who travels so much, and sees the airport once or twice every month, it is a necessary accessory. And not just that, of course, I take all my meetings, calls, listen to music using this. In these 2 years, I have not stayed away from QC even for a day, and it's performance is still the same. Within 10-12 mins it gets fully charged from ground zero. It comes for hours with noise cancellation on.
Well, bottomline, if you are thinking of investing in a headphone, then this one is worth every penny.
